Committee Formulation - DEI Task Force

The PMA DEI task force was convened in the fall of 2020 and is composed of faculty, postdocs, staff and graduate students in the division. The role of the task force is to come up with actionable recommendations for the PMA division and its departments to improve the overall culture and climate of our community. These actions may include a series of new guidelines, policies, and best practices for committee work (new and existing), admissions and recruitment, quality of experience, programming (e.g. colloquia and speakers series), new initiatives such as Caltech FUTURE programs, and places where the division should make financial investments. The PMA DEIO committee was formed in response to the recommendations of the DEI Task Force.
